Eulalia should be watered regularly, but not excessively. Water the soil until it is moderately moist but not soggy. It is best to water the plant in the morning so that the foliage can dry before nightfall, reducing the risk of fungal diseases. In the warmer months, they should be watered more frequently, once every other day or so. During winter, water it about once a week, or whenever the top of the soil is dry to the touch.

Miscanthus sinensis 'Silberspinne' SILVER SPIDER, also known as Eulalia, should be given the amount of sun recommended for its species: full sun for at least 6 to 8 hours a day. It enjoys morning sunlight, but not direct afternoon sun. Eulalia can benefit from some light shade during the hottest months of summer, especially when grown in very hot climates.

Eulalia (Miscanthus sinensis 'Silberspinne' SILVER SPIDER) should be pruned back to the ground in late autumn or early winter. Pruning should be done to promote healthy, strong growth in the spring.
